“ Dr P.V. Chalapathi Rao Memorial Oration” was instituted in memory of Dr Raghu Ram’s father,  who was a renowned Surgeon & former President of the Association of Surgeons of India(ASI)

 

The inaugural oratio was delivered on 18 Dec 2021 during the 81st annual Congress of The Association of Surgeons of India (ASICON 2021) by Dr VN Shrikhande, a doyen in the field of Surgical gastroenterology.
